DART

Dar es Salaam — The arrival of the long awaited Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (Dart) was greeted with jubilation by most of the city dwellers who have been struggling with transport issues.
Since they started operating on Tuesday by giving free rides across the city, some of the passengers have refused to alight from the vehicles giving the crew hard time.
It is evident that the excited passengers who are not going to any specific destination are enjoying the back and forth rides. Users are also struggling to master the use of special electronic
 cards to board the buses.

Commuters in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday started using special rapid shuttle buses connecting the city centre with its outskirts.
Early risers looking forward to beat the morning gridlock to town with the rapid shuttles were however disappointed as the buses started running from 10 am.
